Our reservation team are available to take bookings from Monday to Saturday 9.30 am – 6.00 pm.
The Courtyard Apartments are based in the heart of Carrick-on-Shannon. Our reception desk is located in Murtagh Bar on Main Street. If you need any help on arrival or with directions, please Contact Us.
Guests may Check-In any time between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm.
Check-out is by 11.30 am.
Not a problem. We will provide you with either a contactless Check-In option or we will have someone to check you in. Please be sure to call to give us an estimated time for your arrival. There is always someone available to answer our phones through the night.
Cancellation charges for groups.
We require a written confirmation by email or in writing in the event that you wish to cancel your booking.
The following charges will apply:
6 Weeks Prior to arrival deposit can be returned if booking is canceled.
Between 6 weeks and 14 days prior to arrival the initial deposit is non refundable.
14 days prior to arrival – 100%; of the booking payment is non-refundable.
If in case of a pandemic 50% of the deposit will be returned or a credit note for the full value will be issued, which you can use for up to 1 year.
At The Courtyard Apartments, we accept all credit cards/Visa debit cards on arrival. Or you can pay by bank transfer prior to your stay with us. Please Contact Us to arrange.
The Courtyard Apartments accepts group bookings however please note that excessive noise and parties which cause disturbance to other guests are not acceptable and will not be tolerated. A disturbance/damage charge is required for your group.
A credit card (with funds available for pre authorisation) is required on check in as a standard disturbance/damage charge against damage to property, loss of keys, excessive mess in apartments, excessive noise etc by any member of your group in any apartment under your reservation.
€300 pre – authorisation is a accepted on a credit card and a visa Debit Card
**Please note that if you give a credit card for the pre-authorisation it will take three to five working days within your Bank for the pre-authorisation to go off your account. If you give a Visa Debit card for the pre-authorisation it can take up to 14 days within your Bank for the pre-authorisation to go off your account. Please also note with a Visa Debit card the transaction will appear like a sale transaction on your account details, however, we do not take the money out of your account unless damage occurs over the weekend.**
The person who makes the booking is responsible for all payments and for ensuring that the conduct of the group complies with all the Terms & Conditions of The Courtyard Apartments. Failure to comply with the Terms & conditions will result in the loss of the full disturbance/damage deposit. All communications /deposit refunds will only be made through the person who made the booking.
Our self-catering apartments include bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room areas inclusive of all the facilities required to relax, enjoy and cook in our apartments.
Yes, there are elevators to assist bringing you to your apartment. Our complex has two blocks, both of which are accessible by elevator.
Yes, our stylish kitchens come fully-equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, cooker, washer/dryer, plus crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Yes, all linen for the beds are provided plus a hand towel and bath towel are available to all of our guests. Extra linen and towels are available on request. Hairdryers can also be made available by contacting reception.
Free underground parking is available at the apartments.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in the apartments for all our guests.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Courtyard Apartments & Carrick on Shannon. As you know Carrick on Shannon is a hugely popular town enjoyed by hen parties, weekend visitors, tourists, locals and families.
To ensure that everyone has a great experience here, it is policy that visitors do not carry inflatable blow up dolls to the bars, restaurants and Moon River Cruiser. They will not allow admission to groups with these inflatable objects on board or in any premises. Please ensure everyone in your party is aware of this policy.
